My Top's Fieldcraft B.O.B came in the mail

Well,the wait is over.I have not had the time to go play in the hills with it,but for now,it feels very good in my hand,it's very well made,it's a stout heavy duty knife,it takes a good edge,the thick blade is not for the fine stuff,but that's OK,I always have my rucksak with me for that kind of work.I can not get a good spark with the fero rod using the cut out on the top of the handle,but that's not a big deal with me.Over all I like the knife a whole lot,and I think it will work good for me out in the wild.

The shango notch---Yes that is what I mean.It looks like I just need to mess with it some more

R-224 came in the mail here this AM!

I took the finish off the top of the blade and upper edges of mine. Much quicker than the shango! Can't figure out how to post a pic.

I did something similar, happy with the results.
