This is a set Ive been working on for a while. Needed to be stable in the mountain winds, but loose enough in the trigger to get a catch. Second it needed to not use any cordage other than basic brass snare wire so if needed and the trail set was right could be used off a broken branch or the crotch of tree.

The trigger ended up being just your average "pot hook" And the peg has just a broken twig for an anchor. Works really well.

Next time your out give it a shot, Id like your feedback as to time and simplicity to construct. And of course picture of your set.
