I'm making some bowdrill sets,I will put 12 sets together,the trouble with making that many is all the up and down burning the holes,KILLS my 54 year old back

Nice. You've got enough material there to equip a scout troop! I am planning my first attempts at using bowdrill this coming weekend. Wish me luck.

I am sure you will do fine.Just make sure you have very dry wood of medium density,and your string is not slipping
